While not open to the public yet, we currently have 6 varieties of grapes growing on site. The plans are drawn up, and build date is almost set for Hidden Oak Vineyards to open its doors to the Tasting Room in the fall of this year!
Our winery will feature not only our delicious line of wines but also an atmosphere of pure serenity!
Relax and enjoy your favorite wine in our tasting room that will be completely furnished locally with furniture from Maxwells. We look forward to finding the most comfortable couches and sitting chairs they have to offer. You'll feel more like a guest at our house than a customer!
Whether you choose to sit in comfort by our fireplace or on the 1800 square feet of covered patio overlooking the vineyard and pond, your going to enjoy our scenery as much as your drink!! Cheers!
Our charming vineyard invites you to unwind and reconnect with nature in a peaceful atmosphere. Take a leisurely stroll through our "Pick Your Own" flower garden, where vibrant blooms await your selection. Enjoy the tranquility of our pond, perfect for moments of reflection, or relax by the beach area, where soft sands meet the gentle sound of flowing water.
Hidden Oak Vineyards Tasting Room is currently so well hidden that only the hide and seek champion of the world, Sasquatch, can enjoy a glass of wine here! Luckily, I was able to snap a few photos!
Our Wine Ride shuttle service will pick up and chauffer your group of up to 12 people through a tour of your selection from the top wineries and wine-tasting rooms in the area.
The tour includes the shuttle and driver for seven hours total, from pickup from anywhere within East Central Illinois to final drop off (at the same location as pickup).

Hidden Oak Vineyards is the first winery in Illinois to offer a mobile wine bar. You heard that right, we bring the wine right to you! Whether it's your wedding, bridal shower, or corporate event, make it memorable with wonderful wines served from our cute little Wine Wagon!
Alcohol packages can be tailored to your specific tastes. Choose from a large selection of available wines and beers as well as select liquors and mixers.
When you invite our mobile wine bar to your event, we take care of everything related to the bar. We'll bring the booze, bar, and bartender. That also includes stemware, napkins and receptacles.

Kayla and I took to the Carlyle Lake Wine Trail in the summer of '23. We had a great conversation with one of the winery owners, and he told us about how he got started with growing grapes on only 2 acres. We were in the process of developing a 10-acre piece of land we had bought a couple of years prior, and my gears started turning with ideas! One thing Kayla and I have always enjoyed since the beginning of our relationship was wine and wineries! It wasn't long after that Kayla heard those infamous words from my mouth, "Hey, I've got an idea, and I think you're going to like it."
By November of '23, Hidden Oak Vineyards was officially started! Dirt work began, and vines were ordered. In January of '24, we started making our first batches of wine on a small scale from the juice of each grape variety we would be growing. At the beginning of June, five hundred vines went in the ground! We had a very successful first growing season with seeing 97% of our vines take root!! All my gears started turning again to where to take this adventure next! Here we are at the beginning of 2025, and Hidden Oak Vineyards is set to open its winery and tasting room in the fall!
In the meantime, I couldn't think of a better way to start our business than to support those who are already doing it! That's where the idea of a shuttle bus to other wineries originated. A rising tide raises all ships!
Then the tables were turned, and those words every husband fears came from Kayla's mouth, "Hey, let me show you what I saw on Pinterest!" A week later, and I'm driving to pick up the cute horse trailer that's been converted to a mobile bar for weddings and events!
